He's been "meh". He had a decent rookie year. Then he's kind of floundered here and there. He wasn't impressing in 2015 for sure. He was there best pass protector in 2016 at RT but the Chargers have had a [BLEEP] offensive line now for the past three or four years. He's a whopper for a lineman and if they brought him in he'd more than likely compete for the RG / RT job.

Would anyone be opposed to signing Darrelle Revis to a prove it kind of deal? He doesn't seem like a vacation type of guy and maybe would want to prove he is still one of the best CBs in the game.

I fully expect to have it announced by early this afternoon that we have reached an agreement with A.J. Bouye.  The fact that we were more than willing to let Prince test free agency, and then let House go and essentially drop the number of Cornerbacks on our roster to basically 3, shows me that we have an agreement in place with one of the big name corners.  I think it'll be Bouye because he is just entering his prime, and we can steal him away from a division rival.  If you look on Joe Banner's twitter a couple of days ago someone had asked him if there was a point to the "legal tampering period."  He said that there is no point to it, and that most of these deals are already completed.  I would copy and paste it in here if I knew how lol.  If we could bring in Bouye, Campbell, and a guard, I think that we will have hit this free agency period out of the park.  I think if this is our class, then we will draft a Safety at 4.  I'm not sold though that we are willing to give a Guard 10-12 million/year, but we'll see. 

 

 

As long as that doesn't keep us from drafting a CB as well. This is one of the deepest CB classes in years and I don't wanna miss out on possibly getting a young game changer. I'm just not sold on Bouye.

My love for Campbell goes back to the 08' Draft when we should have drafted him. He would have been on the same D Line as Henderson, Stroud, Hayward even though they were all past their time

Oh believe me I am still all for drafting a rookie, but for say a deal like Amukumara's last season just to see if he has the motivation to return to all pro I'd take the flyer. Call it 1 yr 5-6 mil, 3 mil guaranteed.
