Chick Fil A Bowl-Last game for Manziel before Jacksonville

If you're implying that this game is hurting Manziel.....it is not. He is one of 2 players on the team playing well. A&M is being whipped badly in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Texas should already be blowing up his phone by now.

Quote:7 players on that offense are going to be playing on Sundays, including at least 4 first rounders....
Was that you disagreeing with my statement? Or just making a comment? I can't tell.

Didn't say anything about the draft, or draftable players. My point still stands.

Without Johnny, Evans, and like I said a few pieces off that offense(perhaps a few of those 7 players you mentioned), and on top of that the worst defense in the SEC, please tell me you disagree that A&M would not be the worst team in the SEC? Their defense literally demands their offense score over 40 every single game.

And so I will say it again just to be clear: without Johnny, Evans, and a very few other pieces on offense, this team would likely not have more than 1 or 2 wins against SEC opponents this year. Or, like i already said, the worst team in the SEC.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

Careful...like I said, A&M defense makes anyone look pro.

Remember, this is the same team that could only score a single touchdown against the FSU defense a few weeks ago.

Do bowl games really matter in the scheme of things? How many times have we seen the underdog kick the butt of the "better" team just because the "better" team doesn't really care about the game, especially if they are going to come out in the draft?

Not saying that's the case with this game...just asking the question about the bowl games in general.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

No.....I don't think it matters at all.......unless it's the BCS Bowl between #1 & #2

i think it matters because the nfl isn't win every week or you're out. The nfl season is a marathon and you need players that are up for that.

Not being a jerk but lets leave this out of this thread before you know who comes in here and tells us how Jags football is doomed forever. Thank you
