Night shift number 2 tonight... I'm thrilled to be here!

My husband does night shift every other month. 12 hour shift and 2 hour commute round trip. Just as we get used to him being on one shift it's time to change. It sucks.

This week I've done Friday & Saturday 0700-1900 day shift followed by Sunday & Monday 1900-0700 Night shift and Tuesday 1900-0230 Late shift... at least I have 4 days off afterwards.

That's tough. When I was in my 20's and probably even my 30's I could have done that no problem. My husband could too. We're both 45 and it's getting tougher to do some things. Getting older sucks.
