We did have a democratic leader in office since 2008. Wikileaks didn't launch until 2006. And in fairness they did attempt to expose Bush for his aide against Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. They were still in their infancy at the time. Social media was nowhere near as big as it is today. Twitter was still developing around the same time. Youtube was nowhere as big as it is today. Nor was Facebook, etc. As the information age developed and social networking evolved we saw a huge expansion of Wikileaks and various hacking groups.

We know the CIA is working with Apple and Microsoft to purposely keep operating systems insecure, to leave back door exploits open so the CIA can use them against the citizenry.  This is a criminal act of malice and collusion.  It will be interesting to hear Apple and MS's response, if any.

 

We know the CIA can hack Samsung smart TVs.  They can activate a microphone even when the TV is turned "off". 

 

We know the CIA can hack modern vehicle operating systems and can take control of your car.  This makes for simple and easy assassinations, like the Rolling Stone reporter Michael Hastings whose Mercedes accelerated to 90 MPH and crashed in a ball of fire.  He was investigating CIA Director John Brennan at the time.

 

We know that the CIA can spoof an attack to make it look like it originated elsewhere.  So any claims of "Russian hacking" can be laughed away now.

I disagree. All of these alleged leaks between Russia and Assange have been completely spun by the MSM. The very same MSM that has been caught favoring political parties and figures for at least a decade now. My biggest argument against this is pretty clear and obvious. When Obama and Clinton were claiming a witch hunt against Russia and claiming they had proof it was them. None of it was presented. Not a single shred of evidence was produced. 

 

That's my biggest problem with it. If you're going to make such claims. And if you're going to tell the public that we have full blown proof and evidence of tampering from Russian intelligence. Our country needs a serious reform when it comes to Big Government. I would actually like to go to our national voting and local voting booths and FEEL like it's truly a republic again. That it's a true democracy. I think both major parties will have to change up their approaches within the next 10 - 20 years for sure. Otherwise they will continue to lose the little bit of credibility and grips on their voters that have today. After all of the lies, corruption and scandals being exposed. No one can take these career politicians and suit and ties full of wind seriously anymore.

I spend my days working hard and with my family. Not looking under my bed or tip toeing through life at all. It is what it is. This is a political forum on a message board. Not sure why you're such a tight wad about things. I understand those "suits" will do what they have to do. But those "suits" are just puppets to lobbyists and bankers. What's wrong with wanting the American voter to actually feel like he or she's vote actually counts or means something? It's hard to feel that way about our voting system and political system when it's been embedded and diseased by corporate greed.

 

These "suits" don't have all the right answers. These "suits" don't know what it's like to work a real job, where the wages are barely livable and at the same time they allow tax havens and money to filter right on out of our economy along with our jobs and industries. More people should be paying attention to that and focusing in on that. That ultimately has an impact on us all. Not just conservatives. Not just liberals. Not just democrats or republicans. Not just the Neoliberals and Neoconservatives. Not just the young. Not just the old. 

 

I don't get caught up in all that left Vs. right fight that most of America has been swept and swindled into. I am just saying, at some point, something has to give. And the more people that wake up and see this system for what it is. The better off we'll all be.
