McCaffrey would be the most ideal fit at RB for this team. Him and Mixon.

McCaffery is Reggie Bush 2.0. He would be best suited in a tandem backfield paired with a bruiser type back. If we keep Ivory I could see a McCaffrey/Ivory duo being pretty successful. If you're goal is to take McCaffery as your feature back I have a feeling you'll end up disappointed.

I can see him getting 15-20 carries a game. Plus 5-10 catches. And he should last longer in the NFL than a very physical runner like LF.

Bush was a big part of that NO Super Bowl run and helped that offense flourish.  I think McCaffrey is better though

No but he was n serious issues back in dallas and labeled as potential bust.

To be clear, his issues in Dallas were all health related.

 

His rookie year, he suffered a broken leg that had him out most of the season.

 

His next year, he suffered a ruptured appendix during training camp.  There was a dispute with Jerry Jones over whether it was deemed a football related injury.  Jimmy Smith won the dispute.

 

 

n his first two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys Jimmy Smiths contribution to the team on the field can be summed up by one four letter word, zero. In two complete seasons with the Cowboys Smith failed to make a single catch, though it must be noted that he was active for only 7 games and was dealing with a series of injuries that culminated with an appendectomy in 1993 that was nearly fatal and put Smith on the injured reserve list for the entire season. After Smith and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones got into a conflict over whether or not Smith should be paid for the 1993 season the Cowboys cut the seemingly injury prone wide receiver prior to the 1994 season. Smith spent the entire 1994 season waiting for another team to scoop him up but none did. Having reached rock bottom 1995 could have been the year that Smith called it quits had coach Tom Coughlin of the newly established Jacksonville Jaguars come looking for a talented receiver to hear their roster.
