Chick Fil A Bowl-Last game for Manziel before Jacksonville

Quote:LOL, they aren't throwing in the towel on Sammy.

He's been there for like 4 years now, and has yet to be a difference maker. Why wouldn't they be ready to bring in another QB???

Quote:If Bortles has a great Bowl game, then somehow, the first 3 picks,in no particular order will be Teddy,Manziel, and Bortles

I don't think Manziel or Bortles have more draft value than Clowney.

Bortles definitely doesn't.

Manziel might, but I doubt Bortles will.

I don't think so either. They have a boatload of money invested in him. They need protection for him.

Ton of money invested in him?? When did they give him a 2nd contract?

Also, don't rule out the Rams taking Sammy Watkins. They've needed a number one receiver forever.

His contract was in the last year of high priced rookie contracts.

They took Tavon Austin with the 8th pick last year. That is typically where you draft #1 receivers.

If they trade down they'll probably do so to a location that can still get Sammy Watkins.

Watkins will be a true stud....but they can trade back a few spots and get him

Right, but he only has like a year left of that. He was drafted in 2009. or 10

Quote:St. Louis will never be able to run a competent offense then because Bradford will continue to get smeared on the field like he has been his entire career.

And now you've got Jake Long recovering from a devastating knee injury.

Their loss.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. They seem to be set to roll Bradford. For them to get the most out of him they have to keep him on his feet and off the injury list. That's what I think they should do

Now with that said, I wouldn't be surprised if they decide the potential of adding Clowney to their defensive line is too enticing. Or if Houston takes Clowney they decide to trade with another team looking to grab the gem QB of the draft whether that is Bridgewater,Manziel or maybe Bortles

Gosh can't the Rams just be content with Matthews and Evans? Their team would improve drastically

Haha, they can take the entire Aggie roster if they want, as long as they leave #2 to us.

Before he got hurt, he was having his best season.....but he can't always be running for his life. They need help on the OL especially left tackle.....the loaded contract is thru 2015.

Because Bradford has looked brilliant at times with zero playmakers when he has time in the pocket.

They need to protect him. That's it.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I'm hoping Clowney has a good bowl game but I wouldn't count on it. He will be playing not to get hurt I think. He'll try but not nearly to the same extent that you saw Manziel tonight. Manziel would put his life on the line for his brothers at A&M.....not so with Clowney. Don't take that as a knock on Clowney. I think he will be a beast once he's drafted.

Heres to Clowney having           3.0 sacks/ 2.0 FF/ 5 TFL

Looks like I missed a good game.
