Calais Campbell could take less money ($13 million per year) to go "home" to Denver; Jaguars offering more than $14m. Interesting decision.

Goodbye Calais Campbell. He's old and on the declince and bound to take a vacation here. He's better off going to a contender.

So how does that help us out? We don't even really know how little Romo will take to go to a super bowl contender. He's made a lot of money he could sign cheap if he believes their super bowl bound.

I don't think missing out on Campbell is a big loss really.

Bouye is the big hit.

adding a quality OG would be nice too.

Anything else like Church and Campbell are veteran guys to add security to the young players around them, imo.

But ya know... these reporters just keep stirring it. Clicks... clicks.....

Hes about to pull a Frank Gore.

I'm not sure what the tax rate in Colorado is, but add that in and it's more than a $1 Million dollar difference/year.  Part of me feels like this is his agent trying to get more money out of us, but we'll see.

You guys are going to make yourselves stroke out...there's 4 hours to go before anything can happen.

Have you seen my baseball?

Until we start winning, the money is all we can offer players.... Unfortunately, to go "home" to Denver, to a team that doesn't lose like we do, means a lot more sometimes than no state tax........

This is what I was thinking. And I hope they don't bite.

Older player who hit like 8 sacks.

Why over pay for that?

14 is already top pay for a rotational guy...

Also... if Denver doesn't do something about their QB and run game... not sure they are any more of a contender than we are.

KC is good. Oakland is good. Broncs are at best 3rd in their division.

I feel a becausejaguars moment coming on.

Well....look how it can go all downhill for us

Why would he come here and lose in a small market when he could go contend with Denver in his hometown? What's a few million to somebody that already has 10s of millions of dollars?

He's a goner.

"It appears Calais Campbell to Jacksonville isn’t as firm as it was last night. I’m told Denver, his hometown, could be back in the mix."
