Guys.

"@MortReport Calais Campbell could take less money ($13 million per year) to go "home" to Denver; Jaguars offering more than $14m. Interesting decision."

Quote:One thing I learned a long time ago- don't ever buy the jersey of an active player.  I bought a Byron Leftwich jersey about a week before he got cut.

The safest thing is to order a Fred Taylor or Tony Boselli jersey.

I don't normally buy jerseys, but finally we had one player I was so SURE would be a hit and perennial Pro Bowler that I bit. I bought myself a Justin Blackmon jersey. Ugh!

Adding to @mortreport's...report, Denver is emerging as the front runner to land Campbell but no decision has been made.

If we lose out to Denver, so be it.  We can't beat sentimentality and a home town advantage.

Now, it's also very possible that this Denver angle is being floated by his agent to try to see if he can squeeze more money out of Jacksonville.  I wouldn't bend on the offer already made.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Dang. Cant blame him for wanting to play for a team that wins or at least has a chance to win.

And this is the consequence of having subpar play from your team's leaders...i.e Bortles, etc: Some really good free agents won't sign up...even if you break the bank.
