Chick Fil A Bowl-Last game for Manziel before Jacksonville

Quote:Or Bridge goes first, whoever trades with the Rams for Manziel, then we still end up with Clowney at 3.... seems like just yesterday all i heard on this board was manizel is a bust...how quickly things can change We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
As on all things....the board is split. I've been watching this guy for a while. Nothing he does surprises me anymore.
Sounds like I missed an amazing game. Anyone know if I can find a re-run online somewhere.
Are people thinking that Manziel could go as high as 2 now? I personally thought talent wise that there was quite a large gap between Bridgewater and the next bunch of QBs. (But granted I don't watch enough college football to validate that opinion). Would be very interested to read a Kodiak analysis of this game if he has time

One of the things that you'll find interesting is that the punter for Duke never saw the field once. How Manziel brought them back being down by 3 touchdowns at the half.....well.....I'm gonna have to watch that 2nd half again.

I'm waiting for him to declare. Its kind of a foregone conclusion at this point, but still. And I'm also going to do a whole bunch of games once the season is over. I'm gonna try to have three for each prospect.

2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/
Quote:StroudCrowd, I was thinking the same thing... They've had a ton of opportunity to gather talent but they're missing the playoffs again. I wonder whether it's bad scouting, bad coaching, or (my belief) misplaced trust in Sam Bradford.Bradford was really starting to come on this season. I think he will finally do it next year. The team went 7-9, so its not like they weren't improving at all. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! I've also heard that Manziel has HUGE hands, wears size 15 shoes, and that people think he's still growing. Guys like Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless (I know I know, they're not exerts at anything other than running their mouth) believe Manziel will measure in closer to 6'1" than 5'11... just judging by their eye test after hanging out with Johnny.
If Manziel measures over 6' and is somewhere around 210 lbs I think he will go in the top 3.

Now you know why having top pick matters, we may miss out on both QB prospects

Johnny Manziel is an amazing player. He will be a top 5 selection

If true the big hands and feet thing is good because bigger hands usually means less fumbles and the bigger feet is part of the reason for his body control duning his mobility. If you remember, Leftwich had tiny feet and small hands, Thats part of the reason why he was so clumsy a lot of times that he tried to be mobile, like a walking candy apple.

Either we get get him or get a nice hand of picks sent to us for him as I'm sure at least 1 GM will love him. This is a kid who a lot of experts where calling a "once in a generation" prospect. Wow. After four months of nothing but Teddy, Teddy, Teddy - now it's Johnny Football?
By the time of the draft this game will be a distant memory. It was against Duke! Manziel has had plenty like this one. I doubt it changes GMs opinions much. What happened to the oh my God, if we don't get Bridgewater we're doomed! It is kind of cool to see so many on here drop their pseudo-scout persona and act like real fans. Which is all any of us are anyway.
The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.

Its the fact that he's landing on a division rival - or at the very least that division rival will be getting a windfall of draft picks in any trade down.
<p class="">Johnny Football has 971 yards 9 TDS in just 2 bowl games
