Cowboys should not release Romo and raise the price now Texans could get desperate.
No Fun

Quote:I'm gonna miss Marks. Hope he does well elsewhere.

Not a huge surprise though. Hell in this market he'll get paid more than his contract here

Quote:They have 100mill, they wont feel the 16mill they have to pay him anyway. His contract is gone after this season is over, no dead money. The roster spot is pretty meaningless, and they can bench osweiler all season and not waste any development of whatever QB they prefer. Its a win no matter how you slice it.

You don't think they could use that 16 mil towards a player they can actually use this upcoming season?
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Browns will be just fine when they draft Garrett this year, dump Brock next year and draft Darnold. They already beefed up that Oline and they are going to get some serious D help this year.

Quote:Browns are having a crazy good FA; especially if Osweiler balls out with them this year.

If Brock Osweiler plays in 2017 like he did in 2016,  the Browns will almost certainly get the # 1 pick for the 2nd straight season.  Which would be a good thing for them in the long run.

I'd go after Chance Warmack. Low risk high reward.

The guy who has missed 40 games since 2010? I'm not worried.

They have enough money to get everyone they want this FA and still take that 16. They have an enormous amount of money man, they couldnt spend it all in on FA if they tried.

He's 36 and injury prone.  Not like they just drafted Peyton Manning.  They'll be good though.

I didn't see this. Where did you see it?

Welp. We gonna regret Romo signing with the Texans after he tears it up for 3 quarters all of next year.

Tactical tank move?  Trade cap space for a 2nd this year and a 1st next year. Ninja

Quote:Browns can turn around and cut him with no cap hit...

That probably would be their best option.

They signed Zeitler, Tretter, Britt, extended Pryor and Bitonio...and they still have the most cap space in the league. I think they'll be alright.

Or they could simply cut him and give him his guaranteed salary.
