Yes.  Multiple sources saying "apparent hoax" now.

<p class="">Yesterday Tony Romo posted a goodbye on Instagram and was never released. Jimmy G posted a goodbye and wasn't traded. Maybe it's IG's fault?

Quote:Basically sounds like Malik's comments. "I want all $90 million"
Malik showed up tho.. Gotta give it to him (like he gave my son his gloves after the Buffalo game/ Good Dude- we actually joked back and forth with him a few times during the game. And Yannick.. (more than I can say for Marks- we tried to shoot it with him, he just stared at us like he was talking junk about us to himself) - anyway-

If Bouye means what he says like Malik meant it, we will be alright.

Quote:Lol, its funny how some poeple don't understand how free agency works.  There are other teams trying to get the same players.  Not to mention the player has to want to come here.  You still don't understand that.  We are not just going to go out and get every top FA out there
Right. And the way Jaguars' logo was lighting up NFL Network, you can see we puttin in work.  Gotta love it- Or atleast like it.

If he falls to the 2nd, I think u owe it to everything to pick him.  To the organization, to the fanbase, to the entire process.  If you have a chance to draft that guy in the 2nd and you pass (w/Blake as ur QB and just having drafted Fournette) then you have failed in your responsibilities.

I'd say the same for Mahomes.

None...whatsoever.

What, exactly, is he going to 'learn' from Romo?

They're both mobile quarterbacks. Romo will show him how it's done.

Romo?  A mobile quarterback?  This isn't 2011.

Bortles two main problems are mechanics (the largest by far) and decision making.  You don't 'learn' that from watching from the sideline.  Couple that with the fact that he's on the last year of his contract, it makes no sense whatsoever.  If you bring in Romo you might as well cut Bortles.

He's not a rookie anymore.  I'd like a single instance where a QB has been a starter since his rookie year and a team has brought in a QB to 'learn from' in his 4th.  Just one.

Gino Smith comes close.

Well, other than the fact that Geno Smith was never entrenched as a full-time starter for three years.

No. A 2nd is too high to waste on one of these QB's. I reserve that pick to draft an O-Lineman, assuming we take Fournette with #4. Also, I look at Trubisky and I see Blaine Gabbert. When Gabbert was in college I was impressed with him, but I saw a completely raw, unfinished product. He was nowhere near ready to enter the NFL. When he did leave school early, I knew he was doomed. He was thrown to the wolves way too early and he looked like a deer caught in headlights. He never has recovered. He needed to stay in school and mature into a QB who was ready for the NFL. I see those same qualities in Trubisky. He has talent, but he is very raw and undeveloped. He is nowhere ready to be a starting QB in the NFL. I would have to sit him for at least 2 years, ala Jimmy Garappolo before I'd even consider starting him. That wouldn't really help our situation.

I don't see it happening... I just think it really would be best for everyone. I see three things...

1. The Texans not getting Romo

2. The Jaguars winning immediately with Romo

3. Bortles showing improvement if Romo goes down

4. It would only be a one-year deal where Bortles knows he's taking back over in 2018, and I see him making the best of it by returning a vastly improved QB by the time the 2018 Preseason rolls around.

But again, I know it's not happening so we can move on.

Rams released Kendricks? I like that dude. Maybe he comes to Jacksonville.

Still need some Oline help but it appears Blake is having an offseason like he did in 2015. If that's the case and we can improve this run game, 2017 season is looking much better.

We got rid of Gus.... That's already a plus. And Marrone won games with Kyle Orton. I think he can win them with Blake and this roster.
