There is a difference between men and women. Women slap sometimes, you don't break a 110 pound woman's face for slapping you. He showed no concern for her well being after she was out cold on the floor. Later on he says he didn't regret anything.


Why do we need to keep making excuses for this kind of behavior. It's all cute and harmless when they are 20, by the time they are 25, they are greg hardy.

I wonder if people would feel different if there was audio and earlier video too, when it was alleged and I think even proven that she repeatedly called him racial slanders and spitting in his face. 

 

While I don't condone hitting a woman ever, but if you could hear her calling him a [BLEEP] N word repeatedly and spitting in his face instead of just a silent video of a light contact before the punch I think perception would be quite a bit different

Mixon admitted that the girl said nothing but thought the guy at her table did. So there was zero spitting or racial slurs from the lady involved. It was all made up to try to cover for Mixon Pearl Harboring a woman.

No one is making excuses, no one is condoning what he did, the point is the incident was 3 years ago and by all accounts he's been a great kid since then, again, is it impossible for people to change? I've never struck a woman but I did have big time anger issues as a teenager and was subsequently punished (sent to juvenile detention) because of it, that experience completely changed my life for the better.


To sit here and act like people can't change and say "every young man that hits a woman will turn into Greg Hardy" is incredibly narrow minded, ignorant, and flat out false. We love to judge these days, but get pissed off when people judge our transgressions. Here's a life tip, until you've walked a mile in the shoes of others don't judge, all we can do is give love and understanding to those who have made mistakes (which is all of us) as it helps them overcome their own issues. There's nothing more pompous than people who pretend they've never done anything wrong.

Don't understand the arguement? You ever had a beer a had a drive? Could u have got into oncoming traffic and made mistakes? but Oh no your sorry? I compare DUI to what the kid did. He doesn't have a habit. I seen plenty peoople derailed by DUIs ..... I think he can make it past this and be a productive player...

Mixon hasn't been a great kid since this happened. Someone already posted his other legal troubles and lack of remorse since the assault.

He hasn't said or done anything that leads me to believe he has changed other than people on this board wanting a redemption story so badly that you are just giving it to him by default. He has not earned the redemption that you are giving him.
