I just don't see how you could say that. He won the national championship and he was the major factor in that game. Yes he threw 49 mph, I get that but a scout said that when he needed to, he could rip it. Velocity is not a problem. All of his throws are on point.


Most importantly, he doesn't need Tom House to keep him from dipping the ball at his ankles.

I would like to know exactly how that was measured.   Is there a drill at the Combine that just measures velocity?   Do they tell the QBs, "ok guys, throw as hard as you can because we are going to post your MPH to all the scouts."?
