Quote:Why do u guys think we have failed to address the OLine i'm concerned
It seems like D-Lineman gravitate to Jax, whereas good O-Lineman don't seem to sign here like that. I will say, however, that we addressed O-line in a trade for Albert, even if not in FA.

I am very surprised at us being interested in Poe... he is a 3-4 NT... but a very good player and I would certainly love to have him...

If we do sign him, what is our projected lineup?    Yannick or Folwer at RDE, Poe and Jackson as the 2 DT's ,and Campbell as the LDE?  That's what I would assume right?

That's an absolute god like 4 man front... with our 2 pass rushers being the question mark on whether they build on their first year or not

Quote:I would say with our defensive additions, were better than both of them at most positions and a better overall team if Blake only regains 2015 form, let alone improves on it.

Titans get the edge on OL, RB, and TE. Both QB for now, but who knows.

Even if Blake plays as bad as he did last year, with these new additions, we would probably still win 6 games.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

That's what most are expecting as a base line up. Which as you said, would be amazing

For all those people talking about how smart the browns are....

<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.totalprosports.com/2017/03/13/terrell-pryor-signed-with-washington-browns-botched-negotiations/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=blackadamschefter&utm_campaign=fb'>http://www.totalprosports.com/2017/03/13/terrell-pryor-signed-with-washington-browns-botched-negotiations/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=blackadamschefter&utm_campaign=fb</a>

A quick article on how Pryor wound up with the skins instead of the browns. Haha

Has Tomlinson been that bad for you guys? I was under the impression he was doing well.

Deacon,  in response to knarnn's reply, I wrote the following.  Before providing that,  here are some articles related to Laken Tomlinson being benched.  It's fair to say that as of now, Laken Tomlinson hasn't come close to living up to his draft billing as pick # 28 in the 2015 Draft:

Why is Quinn looking to trade Tomlinson? And I wonder if the Jags would be interested?

..............................

Posted by <a class="" href='https://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/user/4965-d6/' title=""><span>D6</a></span> on Yesterday, 02:49 PM in NFL at Large

Laken Tomlinson got benched last October, with then rookie Graham Glasgow becoming the Lions primary LG until C Travis Swanson suffered a concussion that kept him out of the last 4 regular season games and the playoff game at Seattle.  Tomlinson then was inserted back into the starting lineup at LG the rest of the season.

Tomlinson was very inconsistent in 2016,  after a shaky rookie season.  His best game was probably against the Rams in mid October,  when he filled in at RG for the injured Larry Warford.   Tomlinson looked more comfortable at RG.  With T.J. Lang now the starting RG barring the injury factor and both Glasgow and 2016 5th Round pick Joe Dahl contenders for the LG spot,  I think the Lions are better off trading Tomlinson if a team is willing to give the equivalent of a 4th Round pick.

If the Jaguars would be comfortable with A.J. Cann moving to LG,  it's possible the Jaguars would have interest in Tomlinson.   But with the addition of Earl Watford,  another team could easily be willing to give the Lions more for Tomlinson than the Jaguars would.

I immediately thought of you when I saw the news regarding Kayvon Webster's visit with the Rams.  Hopefully,  he won't come to a contract agreement with them.  I certainly don't want Stan Kroenke or Kevin Demoff to have football success,

<p class="">Latavius Murray’s visit with <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jaguars?src=hash'>#Jaguars</a> has concluded, source said. As for if Poe remains in mix, we're still in wait-and-see.

I don't consider trading for a 32 year old, injury prone LT, "addressing the O-Line."

Smart business move by him. No sense in rushing it before you hear all offers. As long as he doesn't go to Indy I'm happy.

Raiders sign Cordarrelle Patterson

Cordarrelle Patterson's KO Return ability impacts field position. Anything else is gravy for the Raiders with this signing.  He's also dangerous on gadget players.

One thing in particular JDR didn't have enough of to work with in Jax was Offensive playmakers at the skill positions other than RBs.   This despite the team spending multiple 1st Round picks at WR and TE combined.
