I'm not saying I want the Jags to sign him, but since he seems to be wandering around in free agency, and no one has signed him, I have to wonder, is he done? Has he lost a step?
I DON'T WANT THE JAGS TO SIGN HIM. I'm just wondering, if anyone has an opinion or insight, why is he seemingly not in very much demand? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
He's probably being a bit picky right now at which team he would play for. At 31 a RB is starting to dip into borrowed time.
Are you sure you don't want the Jags to sign him?
Have you seen my baseball?

This reminds me of the Shaun Alexander situation quite a few years back.
Terrific RB Up in years Needing/Wanting a lot of money Alexander was basically done. He had nothing left. Although, AP might still have some more "left in the tank" as compared to Alexander. But, not for too much longer, and not for the salary amount he'd likely get.
He's probably being offered the yearly amount but not as much guaranteed.
He's missed 28 games in 3 years. I'd sign him to a prove-it deal, but I don't think he wants one. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Gotta be money. You have to imagine Minnesota would have taken him back for what they paid Murray. He wants way more than he's worth.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

He likely thinks he is worth more than the teams he desires to sign him do. It is safe to assume he wants to go to a contender. He is going to have to take a nice pay cut or play elsewhere. For a guy about to be 32, the market just isn't there, no matter how good he is/was, because that is a steep cliff that RBs fall off of.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Peterson hates the shotgun, Blake has never played in anything but a heavy shotgun offense. Bad fit.
Same bad fit as Fournette would be.
Must be a hard reality being a RB in NFL these days. He was slated to make 18 mil this upcoming year, now teams are probably offering next to nothing. His style of running doesn't help him either.

He is probably looking for a multi year deal with a lot of money up front and no one is willing to give him that.
Everybody should keep saying/typing the same thing over and over and over and over again...that way we all understand. He wants a multi-year deal, on a good team, with lot's of money, most of which is guaranteed and upfront, oh yeah, and he's old and washed up.
Does that clear it up for everybody. No thanks.

If we are taking a RB in rounds 1 or 2 then we won't put our name in the hat. But he's easily the best RB on our team if we signed him right now.
He is still good. He has something to proove and probably 2 or 3 years left where he can do some damage. He wants to get to a super bowl bad
