Make Kaepernick Not Great Again

#21

He's better than a good few QBs who will start this year and almost every back up too.

No surprise the NFL is blackballing him after his protest. I think his message was relatively simple to understand and overall a good message but perhaps went about it the wrong way and underestimated how such an act would be received by many.

This is not governmental suppression or interference you nitwit.

Not freedom from consequence. The government won't arrest me for calling my boss' wife a whale but I am sure my days of working for said boss will be numbered.

No way. He was benched long before his anthem nonsense.

He is not just another guy. Closer to Tebow than a starter.

LOL.  I'm gonna tell your boss that you called his wife a whale.

Teams used to throw this around with T.O, too. You have to weigh the players talent against the "circus" as someone else put it.  It really depends on the nature of the circus too, somethings people will overlook, somethings they won't.

Kaepernick is going to 29 this season so the chances of him getting much better are slim. He had a pretty good statline last year but if you watched the games, you know how deceptive statlines can be.

Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

The bottom line with Kaepernick is he is un-American and chose to publicly disclose and display it.  Teams don't want that kind of childish (liberal) distraction, and based on his "talent" (or lack thereof) they are staying away from him.

It's the same as idiots posting political crap on social media such as Facebook.  A potential employer can see that nonsense and make a decision not to hire a potential candidate, even if they have the qualifications.

He's quite easily better than - Any of the texans Qbs, Mike Glennon, All the jets Qbs, all the 49ers Qbs, all the chiefs Qbs, and a better backup QB than most other backups in the league.

Its pretty clear there is more to it than his play.

4-20 in his last 24 starts. God where do I sign up for that?

Same record as Josh McCown. Or do you think the Jets Qbs, 49ers Qbs and Bears QBs  are better than Kaep?

Equals

Colin isn't particularly any better.

Let's call this for what it is. Trump changing the narrative once again from his disastrous administration. FBI head flat made him look like a lying doofus.

If I'm starting a team and I'm offered a choice between Kaep, Mike Glennon, Josh McCown, Hackenburg, Matt Barkley, Tom Savage, Blaine Gabbert and Brandon Weeden , I know who I'm going to pick...

My order would be

Weeden

Savage

Hackenburg

Glennon

I would take all 4 of those guys over Colin.

What does Brandon Weeden do better than Kaep as a QB?

Hackenburg is absolutely terrible, Tom Savage has never thrown a touchdown in the NFL.

Kaepernick will probably never play another NFL down thanks to his "kneel down".

No doubt its looking that way. There were many different avenues he could have gone down to achieve the same message but he chose the one that would hurt his career the most.

The good thing is that stupidity like his is fading.

Meh, his intentions were all good. What he failed to realize is how the NFL would react.

Just saying if he was good, he could pee on the flag and still start on Sunday.

You give owners way too much credit.
