The "OMG the Bears took Fournette" Mock

#1

The Bears have nobody at RB and take Fournette at #3 in the surprise move of the draft. Who knew?

This mock starts...

1. Browns - DE Myles Garrett

2. 49ers - DE Solomon Thomas

3. Bears - RB Leonard Fournette

4. Jaguars - ?

Go!

#2

The bears have Jordan howard who just ran for 1300 yards

#3

Howard most likely.

I'd be pissed though lol

Gotta be Allen or Howard but...

I would seriously consider Adams because I don't think Church will be a Jag very long

#5

I would switch it. Niners could take Fournette and Bears could take Thomas. No way they take a RB at 3

The Bears have no one at RB?

lol

Niners have no reason to take a RB that high either with Hyde

Eh, Hyde honestly hasn't done much and can't stay healthy. I don't think they take Fournette but it's not too crazy to imagine them doing it.

#9

Jordan Howard and Carlos Hyde are solid starting RBs in this league, but neither is quite on the same level that Fournette is expected to be. Howard was a 5th round draft pick.

David Johnson was picked even later.

The dude just rushed for a ton of yards in Chicago, they have no reason to take one high

Jordan Howard had one of the best rookie RB seasons in history. I think Fournette will be good - but I doubt he sniffs Howard's 1300+ yards or 5.2 yards per carry. Those are filthy numbers for a rookie. Zero chance they take a RB in top 3 rounds.

#12

lol... I didn't realize Jordan Howard made the Pro Bowl last year.

I can see the 49ers taking Fournette realizing he'd do more for them than any of the top qbs, although a more likely situation

The Panthers trade up to #3 and take Fournette.

I would without a second of hesitation take Jordan Howard over Fournette so this is silly.

Yeah this one is sliiiiiightly plausible. It's an easy answer though. If Thomas is gone Howard should be the pick regardless.

You know you're gonna be upset though. Bc we're most likely taking Fournette or Allen

I sincerely hope we draft fournette just to spite you. Every time he scores a touchdown I'll be sure to PM you some of your own quotes from the board.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Should but you never know. I thought Ramsey would have went to Dallas too

I know it's going to kill some of you, but Fournette will be on the board at #4 and if we stay put, he's likely our selection. He may not be ideal, but that's the reality of the situation and we're gonna have to deal with it.

This is so true. Allen is getting a lot of hate for what seems like no reason.

His shoulder problems aren't even a problem until he's like 40. He's getting the same treatment that Leonard Williams got. People keep nitpicking the guy. I wouldn't be mad at all if the Jags took Allen.

I will be upset. Fortunately I'm a Jags fan so I have as much experience coping with bad 1st round picks as anyone.
