Question for Anti-Trump People (Pro-Trump Please Don't Answer)

#21

Quote:And he can't even get the Healthcare Bill passed with a power in the legislative and executive branch.

It's easier to say No then govern.

He's going to introduce this sure fire replacement for Obamacare

He is in TV blaming the Democrats even though they needed zero of their votes.

Credit Congressional Republicans for not passing a bill that they didn't like. No have to pass it to see what's in it thank goodness!

Quote:It is pretty obvious and apparent the majority of the anti-Trump crowd would rather see the country crumble than Trump succeed no matter what they tell ya.

Edit: Example, see RJ's post above. The hate is strong.

I  neither said I wanted the country to fail or hated Trump. We've now had 2 examples of his bad policies failing before they ever got out of the block. That's failure without calamitous consequences...you know, a crumbling country.

I have just never liked the man, and don't see him changing what I don't like about him. Of course I don't want the country to fail, who do you think I am, Rush Limbaugh?

I don't like the man, but respect the Office he holds. In no way would I want anything good for this country to fail. Make the country and the people your priority and everything else should fall into place. Sadly they are so butthurt in DC because it's all about what the Reps can get for their side and what the Dems can get for theirs.

So I typed that in while at work and didint catch it, just checked and boy is that funny. I'll tell you what me and the boys at the wire house laugh about and no red necks that doesn't have anything to do with electricity. Its this president's economic "policy". He is a litteral failure at economics and he wants us to back to the bronze age of economic "policy" tell you what though nobody who knows is laughing.
And cause I was a gazillionaire, and I liked doin it so much, I cut that grass for free.

You missed the boat when you equated bad policy with policy rejected by the Establishment. The people opposing him are fighting for the status quo, his policies break up the hold of the Institution and they can't have that. The People are constrained by a leadership fighting for government control at any cost.

^ exactly.

The Republican/Conservative representatives of Congress are so fractured that they can't even work on a common goal that would easily pass with the majorities they have. Sad, really sad.

The more moderate Republicans thought this new plan was too aggressive and would hurt some of their constituents (while helping some others). The staunch Conservatives didn't think this plan was near aggressive enough.

Just because the Congress majority says "Republican", doesn't mean that they are one, united unit AT ALL. They have very differing views about many things.

It's a freaking Circus.

* I am very glad though (as Indy stated) that at least this time we didn't have to hear/watch any of the "We'll have to pass it to see what's in it" male cow excrement.

So, that was good.

You'd have to define 'success'.

I mean do I want him to enact his policies, and then see them hurt the American people?  Absolutely not.  But I do think they will hurt the American people, and therefore want to see him 'fail' to actually enact them in the first place.  So no, I don't want him to succeed.  Would I have liked it if he had some actual good policies?  Absolutely.  That'd be great.

Do I want him out asap?  Absolutely.  But not by impeachment.  I'd rather see him just maintain the status quo, and then decide not to run in 2020, and then we get two reasonable politicians running for President (I also want to see world hunger ended, cancer cured, and the Jaguars winning a Super Bowl... which are all just as likely to happen by 2020)

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

That's actually why I don't vote for either party, they're more similar than they are different.

In both cases it was bad policy in need of rejection regardless of motivation.

I don't like boats, anyway.
