I've just been wondering, watching this game... is there a single thing he does on the field that he performs better than Manziel?

I can't think of any.

Bortles = Gabbert 2.0 but with more courage in the pocket.

Accuracy (this has been an outlier game), reading defenses, doesn't make boneheaded plays.

Quote:Bortles playing much better in the second half.  I like him.
I said a few pages back that UCF plays its best football in the 1st and the second half, about half way threw the third and into the fourth, and to watch for Bortles's clutch factor in the game, which he demonstrated before the half in his two minute drill.

I'm not. I think Manziel is going to struggle to stay in the NFL.

Manziel plays backyard football.  He's going to have a lot of turnovers in the NFL if his body holds up to the beating.

it will, because with all those turnovers he's going to get benched so he won't have the opportunity to get mauled.

Size, strength, don't matter.

Manziel put up better numbers, had less 'boneheaded plays' and was overall much more dominant against a superior team than Bortles has looked at any point I've seen this year.

Phil Savage just tweeted this and I agree with him

"Blake Bortles' conflict: media/mock drafts = top 10, NFL advisory panel = 2nd RD. 5th pick = 4yrs/18M, 40th pick = 4yrs/4M. <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/search?q=%23toughcall&src=hash'>#toughcall</a>"
