Forget how you feel about Fournette this 4. At face value, this draft would be very good.

Accept if Garrett goes beyond one. Then might as well go all in for Garrett.   And instantly becomes one the best defenses in nfl if Myles Excels.

Agreed, and I can almost see it happening. In my latest mock I have the Browns trading up to #5 for Trubisky, but instead they could just stay put and draft him at 1. If they really need a DE, they should be able to get Derek Barnett at #12.

If the Browns take Tru over Garrett, I'm thinking we're looking at something like...

  1. Browns - QB Mitch Trubisky

  2. Jaguars (from 49ers) - DE Myles Garrett

  3. Bears - DE Solomon Thomas

  4. 49ers (from Jaguars) - SS Jamal Adams

  5. Titans - WR Mike Williams

  6. Jets - CB Marshon Lattimore

  7. Chargers - FS Malik Hooker

  8. Panthers - RB Leonard Fournette

  9. Bengals - DT Jonathan Allen

  10. Bills - CB Marlon Humphrey

  11. Saints -  RB Christian McCaffery

  12. Browns - TE OJ Howard

While I would LOVE to get Garrett here, the question is given our other needs along the OL, RB and TE, would it be worth the cost to trade up to get him?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Looking at the charts, I'm thinking it would take our 2nd and 4th, and next year's 2nd.

This year we'd have Garrett with the first pick, and then in round three there should still be some quality OLs who can start. In round five, we could go BAP among available RBs and TEs.

Yea that would be an amazing draft

You get one of the best RB prospects of the last 10 years, great OL in the 2nd, very good DL help, a nice CB and G, then Butt who in a few years could be the steal of the draft

If we stay put I'm thinking there's a very strong possibility this is precisely what happens.
