I'm not a big fan of drafting a RB this high, but as far as our options went at number 4, he was probably the best fit.

 

I thought Ezekiel Elliott was over drafted, but that now looks like a home run for the cowboys. Hopefully 4nette turns out the same way.

 

It was a long time since we hit home runs with our first rd pick before Ramsey. Doing it back to back would go a long way to getting us out of the drought.

That's what I'm saying. I was on board with Shack and Del Rio, I was on board with Gene Smith, I was on board with Gabbert, I was on board with Gus, I was on board with Bortles. Do you see a trend? I been loyal since the team came here and I've been through the last 10 years of being in the abyss of terribleness. To make matters worse, in those ten years we have literally gotten worse year to year and can't seem to draft a star player. I can't understand how people don't see why some people just want to wait and see or are pessimistic.


I've learned I can't just blindly follow whatever it is. I did that and I'm not doing that anymore. I call what I see. And the franchise has to prove to me it can actually put a winner on the feild. Until then I will not be wearing any teal colored glass for the foreseeable future.

 

I hear you, I have been at points equally excited and disgusted because of all those people you mention but I never remember being disgusted with the Jaguars as a franchise.  It's a subtle difference but a lot of fans don't make that distinction.  I think this current brain trust will get the team back on it's winning ways though, even though I'll admit I wasn't crazy about the Fournette pick.  Not because of his potential, just that I'm a little antsy about picking a RB that high in the draft.  We'll see.
