I never would have pegged you for liking that album.

Good one, nonetheless.

Awesome album.

An album most people probably haven't heard is Blind Melon - Soup. Most people know Blind Melon for "No Rain", but their second album soup was loaded with great songs as well.

Thumbs up #2

Wow, this thread is so far doing better than I'd imagined. Most of the stuff mentioned has been pretty good. I expected a bunch of the death metal with growling and extreme hardcore rap.

Agreed. I am looking forward to pulling up some of the ones I haven't heard.  Keep them coming everyone!

Agents of Oblivion. They only have one album. Their singer, Dax Riggs, has gone on to do several other projects since.

I hear more than a little bit of Ziggy Stardust in there. Very nice.

One more...  Corrosion of Conformity.  A 3 piece punk band in the 80's.  Pepper Keenan joined the band in the early nineties and took over lead singing duties as well as general direction of the band.  They became a hard rock/metal 4-piece with a heavy dose of Sabbath and southern rock mixed in.  I'm amazed they didn't grab a bigger following, but mainstream rock radio wasn't as friendly to the sound then as it is now.  All the albums that Pepper sings on are fantastic and he's on 4 of them.  They've recently gone back to being a 3-piece and I have not had a chance to really listen to them since Pepper left.  Here's my favorite song by them.

Saw Corrosion of Conformity open for Soundgarden in Hamburg, Germany at a club called The Docks in early 90's. Great show!

Zakk Wylde's Book of Shadows is an awesome album.

That's one of my favorite songs of all time, not just from the album. Either way, its a good rock album with some killer solos.

DUDE! Was literally fixing to post this right now. It is a great album. Good stuff. Easily makes road trips more enjoyable.
