With one fell pick(at number 3 no-less), Jaguars could become THE most talked about team in the national football league.

One of the most watched(perhaps THE most watched) team in the NFL.

The hottest ticket in the league.

Highest selling jersey in the nation.

And I guarantee you this. With one fell pick of Manziel, in one day, the Jaguars would no longer have the lowest franchise value in the NFL.

One player, one pick, think about it.

No other single draft-pick this year could do that for us. No single pick could bring as much national recognition, money, tv-deals, ticket-sales, etc, etc, etc. For a team that some call the worst NFL franchise, and many are ready to ship to London, Manziel would prove them all wrong.

oh, and BTW, awesome picture.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

Oh, and we'd have Doc Rivers(from the NBA) as a fan, lol.

Quote:<div>Last night, Doc Rivers(yes the NBA coach), made an unexpected remark at the end of his press conference. I went like this:
"I don't know if you watched Johnny Manziel, but that was unbelievable," Rivers proclaimed. "C'mon, guys! Did y'all see that?" (Talking about the bowl game against Duke). "I've never watched a college player, honestly, more in my life, in one year," Rivers added. "I don't care what he does next year, I just want to see him play. Go back to college and play, go to the pros—I just want to see him play."

Oh for sure, I agree. But that's true with everyone.

But think of it this way. Think 'BEST CASE SCENARIO' for the top 3 QBs

1)If Teddy Bridgewater and Blake Bortles literally replicate everything they've done in college, and play exactly the same way in the NFL, then they'll be good QBs. They won't be the best though(remember, neither of those guys were ever even invited to sit on a heisman board). Neither Teddy nor Blake have ever been THE best QB against kids their own age in college(that distinction belongs to Winston this year and Manziel last year). So even if Teddy and Bortles "pan out", it's hard to imagine either as as THE best QB in the NFL, as they've never even been the best in the college ranks.

2)Manziel on the other hand has been the best. And if Johnny replicates exactly what he's done in college(and admittedly that's a big IF), but if he does, and if he does "pan out", then he has a real chance at being one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks, just like he was THE best in college.

My point?

We can argue all day "Teddy's not gonna pan out", "Manziel's not gonna pan out", etc.

But let's stop being so pessimistic for a second, let's say best case scenario for everyone. Let's say Teddy, Bortles, and Manziel all "pan out", and all their skills translate to the NFL, who's the best QB? Answers obvious.

Signed...Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Or Ben Roethlisberger.

Also co-signed...Tim Tebow, Jason White, and a host of other former Heisman winning QBs who amounted to nothing in the NFL.
