They say they wanted a guy who finishes his blocks

This man does that!

LOL

Ivory is not the starting RB anymore.

This is a legit FB pick-up.  I dig it. Damn, I'm excited to see some friggin smash-mouth football in Duval again. It's been too long.

Quote:Look at how he just plows over guys! Man he is demolishing them. He is the perfect compliment to LF. The media may hate this draft, but I got to say, it got better as time goes on.

BTW did he host his own highlight video? Sort of endearing to me. Seems like a something a guy whose trying real hard would do.

Edit: man I love it, love it, he plows over people and even from better programs like ND and GT. He just doesn't stop to, drives his guy into the ground. The only complaint I have is that he doesn't always spring to the second level after demolishing a guy, but man he looks good.

I noticed that too, but its something that will be coached up and its not really a bid deal honestly. Once big Marquez blows the hole open its up to Fournette and others to run right along.

Quote:You know our picks after LF and Cam aren't exciting when everyone getting hype over the FB selection.

4Nette and Cam received plenty of hype as did our FB selection. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think that I'm wrong.

Yeah, the guy they invested a draft pick in has the clear advantage.

I can see a future GIF now, where Williams Bucks someone in front of Fournette and Fournette breaks open til he himself bucks the next defender.

Now lemme think...  :geek:  What should my avatar....

With Fournette and Williams added to the roster, I can't envision the Gerhart goal line situation from a couples years ago happening again.

He wanted to show the pro scouts that he could lose weight if needed.......so he lost 20lbs for his pro day. He showed off some agility, speed and catching ability coming out of the backfield. In addition to 28 bench presses, he reportedly recorded a 38" vertical. Watching his tape, he rarely misses his guy.....and he finishes his blocks big time. Looks like we have a monster leading the way for a monster. With all of the disappointments in the running game the last few years since MJD, I find it hard to keep my excitement at bay.

Still all depends on the line. I really hope we get better push there.

I watched some highlights of him yesterday. Good Lord he's a big man. I can't wait to see LF run behind that. Luckily we'll get our first little taste a rookie mini camp next weekend I believe
