On the Jaguars 2017 season and the wisdom of crowds.

Quote:Three wins is too low. This is a weak schedule on paper. I broke that down in a different thread but outside of Pittsburgh, Seattle, Cincinnati and Arizona (If, and only if Palmer is healthy) I see the rest of the schedule as winnable. We split the series last year with the tacks and clots. The tinhorns have a questionable QB situation so it's not out of question we go at least 3 - 3 in the division this year. Yes, the Chargers have owned us for as long as I can remember. They've definitely got our number. My prediction is they beat us by 30. We show less advertisements to registered users. Indeed they are one team that has owned us, but I'm not conceding this year's contest so quickly. The Chargers appear to have fallen off a bit while this is surely a much improved Jaguars roster. It's really been Rivers and the Chargers passing game that we simply haven't been able to begin to deal with, but now with Ramsey and our entire starting secondary, we might just get this one. I'll say the Jaguars eek out a very close win as the student, Todd Wash, gets the best of his former master, Gus Bradley.

Quote:If we aren't at least .500 Bortles better be gone and Doug/Caldwell can go with him. 3-6 wins is insulting to talent on this roster. If we start out 0-4, then Bortles needs to be benched.
I still don't understand why they are wasting their money on a side building awning. Its what you do when you can't afford to move into a bigger place. Shad has money. He should cancel the whole project and build us a dome... it's freaking hot year round... it would make more sense than building something that has nothing to do with football.

Or wrong thread? Quote:LOL... you better include Tom as well, since he's the one calling the shots right...... You know how this is going to go. Anything less that eight is on Caldwell. Anything more than eight wins is all due to Coughlin. Must be nice to be Coughlin and have a designated person who will be blamed for any and all failures.
The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.
Quote:LOL... you better include Tom as well, since he's the one calling the shots right...... Coughlin just got here. He's not going anywhere after one season no matter how poorly this team does. If our record doesn't improve within a reasonable time frame I think most fans would agree he can go to. It's time to start winning games. We show less advertisements to registered users. It's comedy watching how people try and spin it.
Coughlin has enough clout that he's not going anywhere, probably ever. 2 rings in recent history, plus 4 playoff appearances with the Jaguars.
Caldwell has put a ton of talent on this team. Telvin, Robinson, Hurns, Ramsey, Jack, Bouye, Church, Fournette, Fowler, etc.
Quote:It's really tough to predict our division.Correction in 99 our former d coordinator game our playbook to our rivals. Otherwise the Jaguars win the Superbowl.

We maybe get to the SB that year, but I don't see us beating the Rams because Marshall Faulk would have exploited the Jaguars only real weakness on defense.with his ability to catch the ball. Our LBs that year struggled covering TEs and RBs.
