That doesn't necessarily support the Democrat agenda. There are a lot of establishment Republicans who dislike Trump for his "drain the swamp" rhetoric and hard core conservatives who think Trump is too far to the left on many issues.


 

I personally would vote disapproval because he's going much too slowly in draining the swamp. There are way to many top positions still unfilled that are necessary to weed out the incompetent lower-level bureaucrats.

Someone help me understand something here. What is this memo exactly? If Comey thought obstruction of justice occurred months ago and is just now bringing it up after being fired how exactly is that going to stick when he is questioned under oath?

This is a pretty serious offense, so I am curious to see how far/long they are willing to take it. I would hate to be the person who is picked to be made an example of, and for what? Political reasons??

Its pretty apparent Trump wants to control the message and doesn't like it when he can't. Someone like Comey who also likes his name in the lights isn't the kind of guy Trump wants around. I don't think its what he stood for as a man, but rather what Trump does with a business.


Either way, congress is paralyzed and the economy is slowly correcting itself without constant government interference. Thats a win in my book.

Comey really painted himself into a corner.  There's no memo.

 

When he goes to testify, he'll have to answer questions that could put him in violation of federal law if he continues his "story."

 

He could also be in trouble if he can't substantiate or refutes his "story."

 

Problem is that when you lie and conceal, you have to continue to lie and conceal to keep up the lies.
