But to take your unobjective viewpoint and claim that it was the same, the following mental gymnastics must occur...

 

The media is, was, and will forever be in 0bama's pocket, so they must have ignored it.  They gave up the opportunity to destroy a conservative for his words (which were not images gone viral, mind you.)  Makes no sense they would ignore this, they overblow the smallest things, even attempt to create something out of absolutely nothing) to try to attack conservatives and those they choose to side against (does covfefe ring a bell, or is your bell perpetually rung?  Russians?)

 

The media is on a mission to destroy and undermine our current President, not to destroy one of their own (Griffin.)  Was it simply a backfire, where they expected it to have a positive (people would love the images because their intent is to pile as many citizens on the hate Trump bandwagon?) but it actually had the opposite effect?

 

Again, the simple answer is - it's not the same.

 

A cynic may say it was purposefully distributed to have a negative impact on Trump, Given the media behavior and abandoning honest and objective journalism, that's quite possible. Absolutely sinister if true, but very plausible.

 

But the simplest answer is...

 

It's just not the same.

 

Both attacks were the same in being wrong.  But not the same in how it has been handled by the media.  A media who was 10:1, night and day, preferential in treating the previous president MUCH better than the current one.  They've become middle school age buffoons cheerleading for/against their favorites/enemies.

 

So if you believe it's the same and are outraged about the outrage against the Trump images (in that they got MUCH more attention,) then look no further than your mainstream media. If you feel the coverage and outrage is disproportional, then consider that their intents backfired... that more people were outraged by it instead of embracing it as they perhaps intended.

 

But, keep suckling from such misinformation an poor sources if you like.
