All you have to do is watch the games over several years and you will see players who don't keep the same number when they change teams. If you don't know that, you are hiding under a rock.

Why would the Eagles trade McCoy and then sign Murray to a big contract.... That doesn't make any sense.

LeSean McCoy was not traded for financial reasons. Chip Kelly did not like him.

It makes a ton of sense, you save money by getting Murray and get Alonso for free.
