2020 Democratic Presidential Candidates

Two geriatric white straight men coming out of the "diverse" Democratic field? That would be entertaining.

Then again, all the Democrats really care about is getting that debate stage photo opp so they can show all of the idiots out there how diverse they pretend to be.

I wonder of Cory Booker will pass as a gay black man to really push their diversity over the top.

No, they will ask the toughest questions possible to create maximum drama and bring in viewers.
They want to sell ads.
However, those questions won't be interesting to someone who has no intention of ever voting for any of them.

I don’t disagree.

So Beto has already completely changed his mind on healthcare? That should go down well....

Bernie got screwed by the Democratic party and Hillary last time around and people know it, so they may back him in masses as a way to get him retribution. Biden is the most moderate Democrat in the field (with real name recognition) and he is very respected by politicians on both sides of the aisle. Personally, I don't care if candidates are black, white, red, brown, yellow or plaid. The same with age. The most popular politician with the most appealing ideas is gonna win the nomination. Bernie's ideas are more progressive and are gonna appeal to younger Democrats, while Biden's moderate views are gonna appeal to middle aged and older Democrats. I doubt anyone else in the field has a chance.

There were two kinds of people who voted boerne last time.
One was true believers in his vision for Democratic socialism. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris share a lot of that vision, so some people in this group will vote for them instead of Bernie this time.
Two was people who just wanted anyone but Hillary. Obviously none of the candidates are Hillary this time.
No one is going to get a majority at the democratic convention until a lot of candidates drop out, so Bernie does have a chance. But I don't think it's a very good chance.
As for Biden, I doubt he runs.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Bernie did get screwed, and he will get screwed again, because most people know running a socialist in a general election is political suicide (at least for the time being). Bernie is a hypocrite. Do as I say, not as I do...

As far as the most popular politician with the most appealing ideas.... what ideas would those be? Who hates Trump the most, or who loves the green new deal the most? "You just pay for it" isn't going to fly in a general election. The democrats are hosed. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked to see another political party born out of the result of this election.

Finally, I don't think Bernie is even serious about becoming president. He will continue to throw his name in the ring as long as he is physically able to keep his name relevant and continue to add additional houses to his real-estate portfolio.

Comparing a guy who has been a politician nearly half a century to a man who turned a million dollar loan into a multi-billion dollar global empire doesn't really seem apples to apples, but whatever floats your boat!

They won't. IMO, Beto entering the race strongly suggests that the Democratic Party has already told him that he's their guy. If they hadn't, I think he would have gone after John Cornyn's seat in the Senate instead. Cornyn's approval ratings are such that he's a sitting duck for a Democrat capable of drawing out voters, and Beto would have very likely beat him.

Kamala Harris and Bernie are wildly different candidates. Kamala isn't getting the same types of people Bernie got at all, she's already ruined her rep with a lot of young people with her track record on justice and crime.

But she did manage to listen to 2Pac and Snoop Dogg music before they even started making music. There has to be some street cred points earned for that.

Pshaw, Bernie and Biden were hip to Souza marches back in 1794.

Yeah no.
Donald Trump's father laundered hundreds of millions to him over many years in order to evade the estate tax.
Dad had his son set up a company to clean the apartments that Dad owned in between renters. This company had no employees.  The only expense this company had was to pay an actual cleaning company. Yet it racked up profits of over one hundred percent year after year.  It's a legal form of money laundering.
I have no problem with the dad giving his kid money. my parents gave me money. I have a problem with them not being open about it.  And I have a much bigger problem with them claiming it didn't happen.
and frankly you come across naive and uninformed that you're perpetuating the self-serving lie that Donald Trump keeps putting out.

I'm sure he's counting on all that evidence in the Mueller Report.

Bold statement to make that Don Sr. laundered hundreds of millions of dollars through his son and in the same sentence call someone else naive and uninformed.  Hopefully the cure for TDS is making good progress ...

Joe Biden is a sexual predator. That is not an opinion. He uses his position of power to molest the female spouses and children of underlings.
Joe also likes to expose himself to female SS agents.
Creepy Uncle Joe would last about 3 minutes in a Presidential campaign, unless he can get his pals at Google to scrub all those videos of Uncle Joe molesting Senate families.

He also had his casinos built by hiring smaller "mom and pop" contractors to do a lot of the work. They took the jobs thinking it would be a "big break" for them, but Trump got much of the work done for free, because he refused to pay them the on much of the finished work. He knew he could tie them up in court for years until they ran out of money to fight him. Anyone can get rich if you lie and cheat enough. Most people choose to be decent human beings, instead.
