Dad had his son set up a company to clean the apartments that Dad owned in between renters. This company had no employees.  The only expense this company had was to pay an actual cleaning company. Yet it racked up profits of over one hundred percent year after year.  It's a legal form of money laundering.
I have no problem with the dad giving his kid money. my parents gave me money. I have a problem with them not being open about it.  And I have a much bigger problem with them claiming it didn't happen.
and frankly you come across naive and uninformed that you're perpetuating the self-serving lie that Donald Trump keeps putting out.

He also had his casinos built by hiring smaller "mom and pop" contractors to do a lot of the work. They took the jobs thinking it would be a "big break" for them, but Trump got much of the work done for free, because he refused to pay them the on much of the finished work. He knew he could tie them up in court for years until they ran out of money to fight him. Anyone can get rich if you lie and cheat enough. Most people choose to be decent human beings, instead.

The claims you make about Trump don't even hold a candle to the shady things a guy who has been in politics 50+ years has done in their career.

That's just a small example of what he has done to become a "self-made" billionaire. If we were able to list all his shady dealings, we'd be here for a week. That's just an example I remember from a report I watched a few years back on 60 Minutes. There were numerous other incidents as well, but my memory isn't what it once was and I don't feel like going back and hunting it up. Anyone who runs for president is gonna have skeletons in their closet. You have to have an ego the size of Texas just to want the position. Trump just has more skeletons than most, because he brags so much, his mouth gets him into trouble.

From the Democratic group of candidates that have so far declared to run for the office of the POTUS I don't see any of them beating President Trump in 2020 ... I do hope for a better candidate, and I will vote for any candidate I consider better than the other (party is irrelevant). If I had my choice at this exact moment, I would pick two candidates not even in the running (yet). Meaning I would gladly vote for a better GOP candidate during the primaries ... If you already have your mind made up for who you will vote for, you aren't really interested in the process of voting for the BAP.  Yes, I said it ... BAP!

Oh God, next thing we know Sammy's going to write in Lindsey Graham because he's a "base hit".

I have no idea who I'm gonna vote for yet, but I guarantee, it won't be Trump. Thank God, Hillary isn't running again. I hate her too.

Someday people are going to look back and miss having a president who fought hard to bring jobs back to America.

I get it, the dudes twitter posts are borderline brain dead but policy wise he has been on point. So, you’ve already determined you’ll vote for the other one regardless? I never understood this along with the wasted vote crowd. It is precisely how we end up with rogue politics like we are seeing in Congress.

Unless or until someone comes along with better policy ( i don’t care about personalities as this isn’t a date), I’ll end up sticking with Trump. Not one of the current individuals running is remotely close to actually put together a coherent, sound run.

The other one? I have no alliance to any party. If I don't like who the Democrats trot out, I'll do what I did in the last election and vote for a 3rd party candidate. People in this country seem to forget, there are more parties than just Republican and Democrat. In the last election, I did my research and voted the lesser of the evils. My candidate may not have won, but my conscience was clear.

The Trumps created a company that siphoned cash from the empire
The first major component was creating a company called All County Building Supply & Maintenance. On paper, All County was Fred Trump’s purchasing agent, buying everything from boilers to cleaning supplies. But All County was, in fact, a company only on paper, records and interviews show — a vehicle to siphon cash from Fred Trump’s empire by simply marking up purchases already made by his employees. Those millions in markups, effectively untaxed gifts, then flowed to All County’s owners — Donald Trump, his siblings and a cousin.
Lee-Ford Tritt, a leading expert in gift and estate tax law at the University of Florida, said the Trumps’ use of All County was “highly suspicious” and could constitute criminal tax fraud. “It certainly looks like a disguised gift,” he said.
All County also had an insidious downside for Fred Trump’s tenants. He used the padded invoices to justify higher rent increases in rent-regulated buildings, records show.
Mr. Harder, the president’s lawyer, disputed The Times’s reporting: “Should The Times state or imply that President Trump participated in fraud, tax evasion or any other crime, it will be exposing itself to substantial liability and damages for defamation.”

I wish I could say that, but I can't make that guarantee.   It still depends on who the Democrats nominate.   I detest Trump, but I will not vote for a socialist.

Is Beto O'Rourke for real? My gawd, that guy is eye rolling to watch. Any predictions on how long until he implodes?

For you he's already imploded.
for the rest of the country, it probably won't be until about November 3rd 2020, if at all.

Joe Biden wants to pick his VEEP even before announcing his campaign.
Getting a little ahead of ourselves, eh Joe? Maybe we should hold primaries first.
But Joe has to give minority voters the hope that Stacey Abrams is just one banana peel away from the Presidency.
Creepy Uncle Joe thinks by naming her as his VEEP, voters won't think he's an OLD WHITE GUY.
Saying a lady's name doesn't make you younger and blacker Joe.
He must have hired Hillary's policy wonks...totally out of touch with reality. You can also skip Wisconsin, Joe. This one's in the bag.

How long was that carton sitting in direct sunlight? I mean, the line between ice cream and soup is getting blurry there.

Also, that looks like a Tesla logo on the steering wheel.

Douche.

I find the far left to be as despicable as the far right, just for different reasons. It's called "being in the center". You should stop by sometime. We have punch and pie on Thursday nights.
