17 second interview -- that was quick.    The fact of the matter is that she probably just articulated that statement incorrect meaning the Dem Convention has to happen because the Party hasn't officially nominated Biden.  It would be nice to know what was stated after that statement but of course, we're in idiot-world where people (even Chuck Todd) releases a clip of an interview that doesn't portray the real meaning of the interview as a whole.

Twitter has made everyone dumber.

It was actually quite a long segment. I'm sure you could go find the full clip. "Probably" just articulated incorrectly after a specific question referring to a virtual convention. They can't officially nominate after a virtual convention? It sounds like you just immediately wrote it off with no thought behind it other than...Twitter is dumb. I could certainly understand why the DNC would backtrack at this point. The dude is a mess.

In response, B2, should we surmise that this was the GOP letting the proverbial cat out of the bag with regard to voter fraud? Or probably just articulated incorrectly?

You're the second person I've seen post that today. What can you possibly see there that seems illegitimate? Dems voted to allow ballot harvesting before the 2018 elections.

He doesn't like saying "ballot harvesting" because he thinks it should be illegal. However, since that's the rules set up by California, Republicans are forced to use the same tactics as Dems.

I could see how it would be taken that way, and I still won't be shocked if there's a convention surprise, but I don't think she meant it that way. I also don't think that she's the least bit privvy to what will or won't happen regarding Biden at the convention.

Do you disagree? Have you not noticed the delight in their reporting of US deaths while they find a way to blame it on Trump?

They're both in Biden's binders full of women.

Please elaborate. I must have missed it.

It is shocking to see how many of my much, much farther-left friends than me, a few of whom were willing to burn Kavanagh at the stake, were all blasting her as a liar and a whore (their words, not mine) and had zero interest in reading anything about the situation. I mean, up until a couple of articles that are blatantly pro-Biden came out. Then they were more than happy to read those, repost them and tell all of us that, see, they were right all along. #RIPMeToo

And what was your point? Why always be so cryptic and just say what you mean.

Sadly, it's what happens when groups throw all their cards in. The sting is removed and doubt creeps into every little thing from that point forward. Time to take things at face value and show everyone equal treatment. Here we are with no Biden investigation, yet another has just been opened for Trump firing an Obama holdover IG. Never a level playing field.

Kinda ironic you think it's cryptic.

My point: that you place so much emphasis on what was badly articulated in a DNC interview when common sense says otherwise. It's a stretch I've only seen emphasized here that there's some sort of Dem conspiracy about not having Biden be their candidate.

Same goes for Nunes, who constantly sticks his foot in his mouth - is he really advocating for an illegal GOP-sanctioned ballot-harvesting across the entire country to ensure a GOP victory come November? Common sense says otherwise.

Pandemonium ensues as she walks to the far left of the stage, like a runway supermodel, stops on a dime, poses, tilts her head slightly and smiles. Camera flashes explode. She next pivots and walks slowly to the center of the stage, freezes there and repeats the pose. Again, the flashes explode. Abrams is summoning her inner actress, and she is both enjoying the moment and getting through it to get to the conversation. She then pivots and walks to the far right of the stage, same.

The one with Biden behind her hugging her is great.

Isn't there a different, more likable "person of color" the dumbocrats can push their chips behind? This is way too forced.

As a VP candidate, maybe. She's far too divisive to be the Presidential candidate. The only real advantage of running her is that Trump is bound to tweet something racist on a few different occasions and totally alienate the middle while trying to explain that calling her a brown turd was a reference to her character, not her skin color.

When you're Joe Biden's VP, you are the actual candidate.

She hasn't won anything other than a district where to win in Georgia only 1 thing has mattered and you are born with it (The area is changing now though and she got out). It also was a state house seat, not sure why the Democrats keep trying to put her out there when she can't win anything in a real competition.
