Jalen Ramsey has asked for trade (merged)

Don't worry even if he went to the chiefs he probably won't win a superbowl.  Andy Reid is one of the greatest during the regular season.

Yes. This is football. Winning is EVERYTHING. Period. I wanna win a championship and if that means we can't have choir boys on our team, so be it. As long as they aren't abusing woman, children or animals, bring'em on. If they can win us a championship, I'm fine with them. The vast majority of NFL fans only care about winning. That's just reality.

I’m not asking for choir boys. In fact that sort of the point. Be men, not boys. And if I can like or admire them, then all the better. But at least don’t be petulant, entitled and thin skinned. We don’t have to be potential buddies. Just don’t be a dick. That’s all I’m asking of a player.

Greatest regular season coach ever. At least until week 11 or so.

Yeah Andy is arguably the biggest playoff choker ever

I’d love to know what exactly was said that was “disrespectful”. I’m 99.99% sure it’s entitled millennial getting butthurt after his charades during the Texan game brought upon an [BLEEP] chewing from Coughlin. Not to say there isn’t a chance TC did say something inappropriate. But I highly doubt that. I just want to know what was said that hurt his little feelings/ego.

But why do you care if he's thin skinned or not?

Do you have to deal with him, outside of what you see on  TV or the internet?  It certainly isn't illegal or even immoral to be thin skinned, petulant, or entitled.

As long as he can shut down an opposing team's best WR and make our team better, what does it matter if he is petulant, has bad table manners, what does his personality quirks matter to any of you?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Coughlin is so senile he still thinks he's the Head Coach of this team...

You know he's on a power trip when he's blatantly undermining the actual HC of the team. Terrible look for this team and franchise.

His petulance, bad table manners, and personality quirks impacts the team.
Negatively or positively is up for debate but there is an impact.

Bad table manners?

Which do you think has a bigger effect...Ramsey's onfield play...or his personality "quirks"

Jalen can't play for a garbage franchise any longer. Khan needs this wake up call because he let this foolishness continue.

All this. As long as he's not beating humans/animals off the field or otherwise doing anything to jeopardize Jaguar wins, what's the problem? Seriously, what's the problem with having a petulant ALL PRO (again for those in the back: ALL PRO) corner with personality quirks? If the price tag was right, every team in the NFL would gladly have him on their roster.

More than anything else, I've observed these past two weeks to be a generational gap issue. Boomers in particular seem to have the hardest time reconciling Jalen's importance to this franchise. They also have a hard time reconciling anyone with an alternative perspective - which is a stereotypical boomer trait in and of itself.

Pay him.
I'll play you in ping pong.

Even without Jalen Ramsey,  I think Andy Reid is going to win at least one Super Bowl with Patrick Mahomes as his starting QB.   If not for a coin flip going the wrong way this past January entering OT in the AFC Championship Game,  the Chiefs Offense would have been difficult to stop based on what transpired in tbe 2nd Half.

Proof,  Saw Calais at Publix and he told me he is 91 % tired of sweet Jalen's shtick.

Upset? Nah. I hope they play his [BLEEP] into the dirt for the next three years as they have every right to do.

I don't necessarily agree with that.  But it is poor character.  And it impacts the team, as it's doing now.

It may be a message board verity that winning is all that matters. But that doesn't make true or praiseworthy.  It also matters how you win and with whom you win.  In just the same way some of you are agnostic about character and you're are free to have your opinion, their character impacts whether I am a fan of someone or not.  And I'm as free to hold that opinion.

I know this isn't the political forum but opinions are running wild these years.  If you dont say excuse me after you burp, you are subject to being released from your NFL team no matter how good you are.

Only psychos don’t say “excuse me” after they burp.

Ramsey has had to work his tail off for years to get to where he is.... nothing entitled about that. He wasn’t given anything in this league. He worked for it.

I understand that they are really good.  If not for coaching we were headed to the superbowl.  Remember Myles Jack wasn't down... yada yada.  But yeah the Chiefs are good and Mahomes is fun to watch for sure.  I'm having some fun in the thread.  Been a bunch of crazy going on.  Jalen has mad skills though look at the post count and views on this thread.  Dang.

just quoting the poster.
His play has the larger impact. But you better believe all the other stuff has an impact as small as it maybe and thats where TC comes in.
Ramsey believes all that stuff is minor and TC believes everything matters.

I do think the relationship is fixable. Both dudes want to win, they just have different ways of getting there.
