Misinterpretation.  ^

He's praised fans for turning out to support the team despite a poor product, but he's labeled the "market" as unable to keep up with the rest of the league. That includes attendance - but is much more about ticket prices being a fraction of what larger markets pay.

The paraphrase you are quoting here is askance of the point of my post.

The assertion I refuted was that Khan "blamed the fans for lack of support." Which is not accurate.

You and I have been part of discussions prior to this in which I clearly stated that Khan's insistence on pulling the Jags revenue closer to league average despite the market is "greedy" when it means moving multiple home games. So you know how I feel about the finger up. But that wasn't my point. I was clarifying an inaccurate statement.

Are you being unprofessional? You're going out your way to troll me so be a man and not a coward and say what's your beef with me. As far as I'm concerned,  I'm not bothering you  so if you got a problem everything could be solved with a conversation.

I think you are extremely funny, that's it.

Well honestly, I don't think what you're doing towards me is funny especially because I'm trying to have a opinion on Jaguar related topics just like everybody else on here. It comes across as disrespectful even if that's not your intention and I just hope we can get to a point where we can have a discussion on Jacksonville Jaguar related matters without me feeling troll by you.

Do you need tissue my man? This post don't concern you so please don't act childish about the situation when it doesn't apply to you. Find somebody else to play with because I'm not the one I promise you. All I'm asking for is we can debate topics on here respectfully thats not too much as from anybody.

But I'm tired of all the cryptic messages. It was the same with Ramsey 'I like everyone but one person', just say what the deal is. I just want to know why Yan wants out so bad and why it cant be resolved. Was it Coughlin? The coaches? Khan? The team? The city?.

Have some respect for the fans and be honest, people can surprise you but this roster is 53 not 1.

I understand and respect your frustration my good man and after reading your post the next question you need to ask yourself is why are the players being turned off by this organization? It's not city that makes players want to run away because we allow them to live normal lives and not smother them but instead, we show them respect and class as professional athletes. Its the organization failure and the way they do things because they settle for mediocrity instead of trying to strive for greatness as an NFL franchise.

Well this is it. My big moans have been the lack of players making 2nd contracts here and the coaches. I'm done with Wash, if I have to watch Marrone in his sunglasses, chewing gum, aimlessly staring at the scoreboard i will scream.

If he came out and gave a reason that is absolutely fine. Now I know. But when hes saying hes being held like a slave and how it cant be saved, like what's going on? Is it that bad here?

How many peoples opinion of Fowler would gave changed if we had known how any times Coghlin had fined him.

Just want to say that I really, really, really don’t dig the “held like a slave” hyperbole. Not faulting you as a poster, but just the general idea of millionaire athletes comparing themselves to slaves. It is seriously so dismissive of what that lifestyle was. Being a slave wasn’t just “oh there’s an element of my life that’s out of my control” or “I feel I’m more valuable than what I’m being compensated for.” It was 95% of the elements being out of your control, and not being compensated at all. And not having the freedom to just choose a different situation. No one is forcing these people to play sports for a living. Slaves were forced to be slaves (and not make millions upon millions of dollars before age 30).

I think today's Jags activities towards the whole BLM issue gives Yannick and his agent the perfect face saving opportunity. He can say "I am so impressed with the words of Shad Khan and the actions of Doug Marrone. Maybe the organization really has changed, I'm willing to give them a chance. I'll sign my tender offer"

That's true.

The Jags' protest march and player comments today also make me feel certain we're gonna' get a big rash of boycotting fans again when half the team displays various forms of peaceful protest. Dozens and dozens of players around the league have already vowed to do so and Jags players have the support of ownership and coaching to do so.

Preparing for Ronster meltdown in 5...4...3...2...

If fans don't want to come watch because players are bringing light to injustice...people are dying for no reason, then bye.
Khan has got enough money to hold it down. Winning still cures sales always.
Otherwise what player wants to come here? Take the hit this year, and be an attractive franchise in every other aspect as a free agent, since our championship reputation is lacking.

People need to stop boycotting sports based on their political opinion, either way. Life is too short. People just need to realize that not everyone agrees on everything all the time, and that is okay. Sports are something that brings everyone together for a common cause. That is powerful.

Is it week 1 yet? The dog days of summer waiting for game 1. I will watch everygame again win or lose.

Me too!

Havent heard much on this lately. Had he fired his agent yet? Is he doing the walk of shame back to TIAA? Has the blind reality hit him that a better player in Clowney still hasnt been signed yet for less money than he thinks he is worth?
