He will wear number 5. It’s available at that’s his high school number and what he wore in NE.

Side note: Last night Frangie interviewed Urban and Urban stated they want 7 TEs for camp and we currently only have 5. I’m guessing we sign Tebow and then bring in another guy via trade and or someone who gets cut.

This is patently false.

In fact, this won't be true until...

1.  Anti Tebow fans put up a banner across the I-95 pedestrian overpass urging the team to NOT sign Tebow;

2.  Anti Tebow fans petition the president via government website to prohibit the team from signing Tebow;

3.  Anti Tebow fans abandon their Jaguars fandom because the team signs Tebow;

4.  Anti Tebow fans show up at the stadium wearing sandwich board signs urging the team to NOT sign Tebow.

Its patently true based on:

Or just sign a FB if you want one...

I agree Tebow would do better as a FB than at TE, but you know who would be better? A 22-25 year old player with NFL traits that has played that position for a decade. Since FB is just about the least valuable position in football, I imagine there are a lot of choices available on the market right now.

So, if the Jaguars' offensive terminology moving forward indeed is heavily based on offenses Bevell has run in the past, then a player such as Jones – who played for Bevell in Detroit the past two seasons – indeed would have a bit of an advantage early over a player who never had been around a team that uses similar terminology."

“Everyone’s saying ‘oh he’s finally doing what he should’ve done 10 years ago by switching to tight end.’ Y’all, we were with him on the Jets. They tried to switch him to tight end, he wasn’t good. That’s what you do in college. ‘Oh they’ll just use him as a Taysom Hill player.’ Tim ran a 4.8, Taysom Hill runs a 4.4. They’re just two totally different players. Tim is a good dude and I hope the best for him but it’s a sideshow. That’s what it will be come training camp time. I think it kind of undercuts, undermines what Urban Meyer is trying to build. I’m not saying… maybe he makes the team, maybe he doesn’t but it’s going to take away from the task at hand which is trying to put together the most competitive roster in camp.
