Bottom CBs, WRs, 1 QB, etc. I don't think he is making the roster but he has value as a player who can play multiple positions. Stash him on the PS and see if he progresses and if not cut him. It's not like the Jags are going to miss out on anyone with the huge PS now.

Why does he have any value? He hasn't actually excelled at any position in the NFL.

He literally has zero value. He isn't going to have a single team knocking on his door when we cut him.

We can easily get an 8th or 9th round pick out o him!

10th rounder at best.

Yes, but I feel the media circus and jersey sales are at least a round higher.

He should do this team and his buddy Urban a favor and just retire now. That way the team gets better and Urban doesn't have to feel guilty about cutting one of his best buddies.

I think you are missing the what he has demanded or accepted. He demanded nothing, they can cut him at any point. He won't accept an unearned spot on the team. He didn't demand a spot in the MLB or even minor leagues, he worked his way up. I'm not saying he will ever play but he hasn't acted like he is owed anything. I don't like his skills or think he will produce anything but don't act like he has ever demanded anything.

If Tebow weren’t on the team the only talk out of Jax would be how bad TL is in comparison to Justin Fields. Remember, I’m the one who warned you well before the first game was played that he holds the ball too long, will disappear the first time he gets popped in the mouth and can’t throw timing routes in live game situations. He waits until receivers break free. Wait until he is lined up against first team NFL defenses.

In seven series, Fields went 14-of-20 passing for 142 yards and a TD for a 106.7 passer rating. He added five rushes for 33 yards and a score.

1.  To me, the whole disappear when he gets popped in the mouth critique has already been proven false, because he took two sacks and bounced back immediately from them.

2.  As far as waiting until receivers break free, he wasn't the only QB that did that, at least early in his career.  When explaining the difference between QBs Steve Walsh and Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin stated that if you ran a 15 yard out, Steve Walsh would probably throw the  ball at 8 to 10 yards, before you even made the cut.    But he said Aikman would throw the same pass at 15 because his arm was stronger.

None of this is to say TL is wholly without flaws.

But he is a rookie coming off of his first preseason game in his rookie year.  Give the man time to develop.

No one has talked about Tebow in weeks until now just to point out how bad he is.

We also told you Tebow was gonna be garbage but you didn't listen.

I feel a whole lot better about TLaw overcoming his flaws than I do about Tebow overcoming his.

I don't think it's just me, either.

He didn’t get hit hard on those two sacks.

Read your last two sentences on him being a rookie then apply them to Tim and we will be on the same page.

At 34? lololol he sucks and shouldn't be on the roster anymore. He is garbage at TE, he is garbage at QB, he is garbage in the NFL, period.

Trevor on the other hand is a rookie and the best QB to come out since Luck. Doesn't matter what one random on the internet thinks.

It didn't appear so, but it's easy for us to say when we weren't the ones tackled.

As for the rookie thing, that is absolutely laughable.

TL is an actual rookie just out of college.

Tebow is 34 years old, played two seasons in the NFL as a QB, and decided on his own volition to try to change positions after a 9 year layoff.

When do the you Tebow cultists stop jumping on the grenade to defend this guy?!?

Even now, Tebow sychophants saw freaking first ballot Hall of Famer John freaking Elway somehow conspired to blackball Tebow from the league as a QB for reasons other than on field, football related reasons.

Now, when video comes out of embarrassing efforts doing one of the fundamental things a TE does-blocking-you trot out the he's just a rookie card.

Pathetic.

Trevor was playing QB last year, and the year before, and the year before. Tebow was NOT playing tight end last year, nor the year before, nor the year before. He is a rookie tight end. I trotted out the rookie card when you trotted it out to justify Trevor. I could have just pointed out that Justin Fields is also a rookie and blew Lawrence away...

I haven't defended anything about the play (or plays). But you, the Trevor cultist... the Trevor sycophant, are sure jumping on the grenade to defend him.

Pathetic.

Boy this is getting good.  Laughing Banana

Bullseye don't feed the troll.
Seriously gonna try to use TLaws two series as argument against talking about how bad Tebows debut as TE was.

Hilariously pathetic.

Surely we can get this to 200 pages before Tebow is cut right? Meyer is too nice to cut him in first round but he isn't making it to the final cut imo

Sorry Tebow, no Superbowl ring for you

Only we Jag fans get the chance to enjoy that, am I right fellas?

None of the people cut this week have any value. Everyone seems to think you either need to hate Tebow or love him. Getting cut this week or next is just 1 week of pay. It doesn't matter and those players won't make it in the NFL. So who cares when he gets cut.

You am so smart.  Basing a career off of one pre-season game is absolutely brilliant.

By the way, are you one of the nitwits that bought an 85 jersey?  Just curious.
