Quote:Yannick is just another Ryan Davis.
Imagine getting 13 sacks, getting doubled and usually playing from behind which means the other team just runs the ball.

That was what he had to deal with. I watched every game and Yannick and Davis showed up on tape. It's no shock they got drafted today.

Jalen Ramsey is 21 years old. Myles Jack and Yannick Ngakoue are both 20.

This is a great underrated point. Theoretically so much physical growth potential left in all of them, and still quite young going into their second contract...not 28/29 past their prime for most of the deal like Josh Normal/Dodd/Calhoun/etc.

Caldwell seems to mostly draft young guys high. Smart.

Had Jalen Ramsey been off the board at No. 5, the Jaguars would've picked Joey Bosa. They were clearly hungry for another edge rusher, so it's not a surprise to see them take one here. Ngakoue was seen as a third-round prospect, so it makes sense to take one here. He has a great motor, which I'm sure the Jaguars will love.

Does Jalen know Yannick? FSU and Maryland haven't played each other since like 2013.

When you are 2nd in the nation for sacks in the FBS, you are bound to be "known" by many.

Anyone else surprised Connor Cook is still available?

That's impossible. We have an A grade draft.
