Trivial things that annoy you..

Quote:Having modifiers or admins with an agenda.  I love watching the Jacksonville Jaguars and coming onto the message board to talk about them, but I don't like being giving a warning point for something rather lame...

In my opinion its almost an abuse of power.  What it ultimately does it turn fans away from their favorite team.  If I'm told I've been warned for putting a symbol in place of cussing, really?  That is what the mods are spending their time on harassing fans about symbols on a message board?

Or typing political stuff in a different grouping is an immediate ban for 24 hours?

It really has me shaking my head.  Are the mods even paid or simply fans that volunteer?  I assume the admins are paid.  I feel like writing a letter to the owner about it.  I mean its kind of lame thing to complain about, a warning point... but so is giving a person a warning point in the first place.  I mean I can understand if I was bullying or threatening another person on the message board... or saying something that was extremely racist & vulgar .. but really putting a political topic in a different thread & using symbols... lame.
Here...let me help you:

And just an FYI, posting the same message on multiple threads is considered "spamming". Just sayin. You might want to refresh yourself of the board rules...

Modifying the rules as you go along, huh? Stinking modifiers. That goes for you Addins too.  Adding in rules as you see fit, right?  Stinking addins.

Pretty sure they're all volunteers...

The [BAD WORD REMOVED] Mods, they can't do a [BAD WORD REMOVED] thing right!

(I've gotten the same warning, as long as the filter catches it, it's fair game...we all know the words)

[BAD WORD REMOVED] [BAD WORD REMOVED] [BAD WORD REMOVED]

With that said, I wouldn't want to deal with the unwashed masses around here, offseason or no.

Quote:Unfortunately its just the way it is if you mention another team at all. Modern day tribalism, they take it as a slight I'd say.

Yeah I get that.. just frustrating at times that's all...

Plus yesterday wasn't a great day for me! Back in the zone today

People that are sitting in the entrance lane to the interstate and suddenly turn on their turn signal.  We were supposed to think you were going somewhere else?

People that stand and wait for a line of folks to go in/out of a building. When there is ANOTHER FREAKING DOOR RIGHT THERE!

People who ride the entire length of an on-ramp regardless of the situation instead of moving over when the lane is clear.

People who refuse to acknowledge how superiorly smarter I am by using things like "facts", "examples", and "verified references".

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Women with gaudy tattoos. Not an annoyance, but such a turnoff.

When there's nothing on tv.. then you finally find something.. and you switch to the channel.. and it's a commercial.. then by some miracle there is another thing on you didn't notice before.. so you flip to that.. and it's a commercial.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Or when you see something on the TV guide and excitedly turn it to that channel before realising that it actually finishes in 1 minute..

If you upgrade to the premium package, you can get the Playboy channel all day.  Problem solved.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

Bicyclists who don't obey the traffic laws.   You finally get past them, but when you stop for a red light, they pass you on the right and there they are again, sitting in front of you, waiting for the light to change.

If you'd just build some separate bike paths like we did this would be less of a problem.
