This is where i disagree with you Bullseye and the reason why the Texans was so successful pass rushing wise against this team because we had no running game and it was easier for them to tee off on Blake. If Fournette is as good as i think he's going to be on the NFL level they're going to have to honor it and the line overall would be able to hold their own because of it.

I certainly do not disagree with you that a running game helps pass protection.

Bruce Smith did not get his first sack against Boselli until the Jaguars were down to their 5th RB.

But I think part of the reason we had no running game is because we didn't have guys capable of consistently blocking those Texans guys I listed in the running game.  I think Joeckel would have been overmatched against those guys in the run or pass game.

I think the additions of Albert and Robinson will help us match up better against those guys in both the run and pass game.

But until they line up and prove it, it will be worrisome to me.
