Yeldon probably does have more long-term potential as Ivory probably hit his peak with the Jets. That said, Yeldon surely carries far more trade value, and we'd do just fine with 4net, Ivory and Grant.

Also we don't really want Yeldon on 3rd and longs as long runs are not his specialty. Ivory can actually spell 4Net with his power, but Grant provides a fantastic change-of-pace and truly is an ideal 3rd downs back provided he can pick up the blocking assignments.

You don't want to worry about any RB trying to run the ball on 3rd and long period, because you don't want to be in 3rd and longs to begin with. If there's some sort of discussion about that situation, then there's far bigger things to worry about if we're in constant 3rd and longs.

If that's the case, which RB on the field should not be the concern. The main concern should be why are we in that situation in the first place.

It would mean we're struggling to move the ball on 1st and 2nd down, which would be a far bigger concern.

The whole point of drafting Fournette that high was to keep 3rd downs to 3rd and short, as well as keeping Bortles fresh by not needing him to throw it around the field 40+ times.

Grant is too small to try and block people consistently, he'll be exposed there. He also goes down with little contact. Sure hes fast and should get a handful of touches every game, but that's about it.

Yeldon has the best hands and has the best blocking of all the RBs. He also has some wiggle and can easily make something out of nothing, which he did many times last year. He actually compliments Fournette's running style the best. Let Fournette pound on them and then let Yeldon give them a little shake.

It would be stupid to let Yeldon go because lets be real. Fournette's and Ivory's running style opens them up to injuries and it's only a matter of time before one, or both of them get banged up.

All good points, plus Yeldon is probably the best pass catcher among them. It's best to keep all four, but if there is a thought to trading any of them... outside fo 4net of course... Yeldon is the only one carrying any real value.
