True, I've only spent a couple weeks out there and a lot of that time was spent in a suburb. My main non-work related memories revolve around a surprisingly bad sushi restaurant, heavy traffic, and weirdly courteous drivers (at least by Jacksonville standards).

I do have to admit that Portland traffic is horrible.
