I agree on both points, FBT.  I'm just wondering the team isn't wrong with its decision making here.

So far we have one guy that this knucklehead thinks is a proven interior o lineman: Linder. There are three interior line spots. We need a good interior if we are going to go from having an awful run game to having power run game be focus of offense.

They're either right or they're wrong.  Only time will tell. Either we trust Coughlin's decision based on what his perception of the talent available was, or we don't. Since Coughlin has historically been adept at identifying talent on the line, I'm going to trust his judgment on this for now until proven otherwise.
