All that money that used to go to rookie salaries goes to mediocre QBs now. The rookie salaries were a problem that needed fixing, but having all this money go to one position could eventually be another if this keeps ballooning out of control. I'd love to see a team without a QB and a loaded roster dominate for a few years like the Ravens did with Dilfer that one year, but I'm not sure that's possible.
