Fournette would have to rush for 1500 yards and double digit TDs to win rookie of the year.

I don't see how this Jaguars team finishes below .500 with those numbers from Fournette.

Frankly, if he gets those numbers and the defense is middle of the league in scoring the Jaguars should win the division.

1500 yards and double digit TDs means that either Bortles is playing well enough for the defense to not be able to just stack against the run, or Fournette is so dominant that it doesn't matter. Either way if he gets that kind of performance I'm thinking 10+ wins, and the division should be the Jaguars easily with 10+ wins.

Anyone thinking the Jaguars are 4th in the division is essentially betting that Fournette isn't special or that the rest of the team implodes in spite of him. Since they're saying he'll be special and I think the defense will be good enough to win their scenario would have the Jaguars first in the division, not last, mainly because I think Marrone and the offensive coaching staff have shown they can manage Bortles well enough.

I can't think of too many instances where a RB had 1500 yards and double digit TDs and played on a losing team.  I remember Herschel Walker rushed for 1500 yards on a Dallas team that finished 3-13 in 1988, but he had a combined 7 TDs that year, and that defense was nowhere close to what the Jaguars have.

Gerald Riggs had a 1700 yard season and scored 10 TDs on a 1985 Falcons team that won 4 games.  But they had David freaking Archer at QB.  Whatever faults Bortles has, he's much better than Archer.

Our own MJD rushed for 1600 yards and had a combined 11 TDs in 2011.  But anyone following this team now vs then could tell you there is no contest in comparative talent.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
