Lauderdale.  A one way ticket to Oslo or Copenhagen (and maybe a few other European cities) can be had for around $170 on certain days and getting your flights 6 months in advance or more can help you get them as cheaply as possible.  Also, once you're in Oslo or Copenhagen, flights to other European cities can be had for as little as $43 on Norwegian Airlines or you can take a train.

Some of the cheap flights on certain airlines within Europe have checked baggage fees that are as much as the flight.  I'd recommend packing light and just using a carry on and doing laundry while you're over there if need be if that's where you decide to go.

Ours was the trip of a lifetime.  We have our first child now so we probably won't be able to do anything like that again for a long time.  Do it or something like it while you can and while you're young if your finances will permit.

And Congratulations!

Thank you, and that is my thoughts as well. I took a trip to Italy with m family a long time ago and absolutely loved it. i have heard about the train a number of times and i think that's what i want to do. I was reading something about a euro pass that runs you through quite a few countries in Europe and from my understanding that was relatively cheap. Im really excited for everything but my fiancee has her heart set on bora bora lol. Its beautiful and all but we go to the virgin islands every year and have been on numerous cruises so i would much rather do something different. Her friend told her about those glass bottom huts and its been tough to get her to think about anything else lol.
