Ah, someone using the stat sheet rather than their eyes again. You must have missed the multiple flagrant personal fouls, the lack of any kind of pass rushing moves, or the fact that his position coach said he needed to learn how to watch film AFTER he had been out for his entire rookie year due to injury. How many of those sacks were on stunts? All that is before we even get to the off-field stuff, which he's been screwing up ever since he worse those dumb gold-studded shoes on draft night. 

This kid has bust written all over him as far as I'm concerned. Talented? Sure, maybe. The work ethic to harness any of it simply isn't there, and he seems to be a less than intelligible guy to be sure. Screw those dumpy 4 sacks and 5 Pdefs.

Let's talk about money. They have to decide on picking up his 5th year option after this season, right? So besides the money he's cost himself that you mention, he's going to need to deliver a monster, injury-free season in order to even sniff that 5th year option.

If he gets seriously hurt this year again I would bet we cut ties with him before he even plays that 4th year. Who's going to sign him to big money after that?

Fowler better pull his head out of his posterior and fast, or he's gonna arrive in bustville/brokeville faster than anyone ever thought.
