Mack would be the same, as would Amari Cooper.  Leonard Williams was another guy most people thought should go in the top 5 yet we passed on him, likely because he didn't fit Gus' stupid defense.

The fact that we didn't get one of those 3 in 2 years is a big reason why we are where we are. 

You can't pass on the defensive player of the year (and probably hall of famer if he continues like this) on a guy who can't throw a football.  It's mind-boggling to me.

Like I said, Mack I think probably would be recognized as great even playing for a turd like Sprinkles. It's just that Sprinkles wouldn't be able to take advantage of his talents to help the team win games, much like having an excellent corner in Ramsey didn't help the defense get off the field in third down situations under Gus and allowed teams to come back at the ends of games.
