Well, It's Been A Good Ride

My thoughts and prayers are with you !!
I don't get it. I just spent a month in the Pittsburgh hospital visiting my mom who was recovering from a severe stroke. There were so many people on some form of life support just hanging on. I asked the nurse about it and she stated that she alone had 7 patients over 90 years old on the cardiology floor. HOW CAN WE (THE USA) EXPEND EXTENSIVE $$$ KEEPING PEOPLE OVER 90 YEARS OF AGE ALIVE ON LIFE SUPPORT, BUT CAN'T FIND THE RESOURCES TO ENABLE SOMEONE MUCH YOUNGER TO GET THE MEDICATION THEY NEED TO SURVIVE AND LIVE A REASONABLY PAIN-FREE LIFE MOVING FORWARD. Don't give up or give in. There has to be something out there .... ![]() |
