Here is the one thing you could do... Sign him to a deal a little more lucrative than Hurns, and if he balls out you are getting him on the cheap again compared to his production. This could result in holdouts, but ultimately I don't think it would. If he flops, you can always cut ties with minimal issue as well.
I am in the camp of 'wait and see'. If by week 10 he has 800 yards and multiple TDs, you lock him up before the season ends. Plus this would mean Bortles is lighting it up too, which would be really nice. |
