You know who has suffered fewer injuries than Peyton, Tom, and Aaron? Drew Brees, who is "only" 6-1 and was drafted in 2001.



In other words, it is not the quarterback's size, but his playing style, that increases injury risk. If Manziel runs out of bounds and slides to avoid contact, he will be OK. The problem is TAMU's quarterback coach never taught him how important that is in the NFL.

Ben has missed a few games yes but he has also punished his body to win games for his team. He has led his team to two super bowl wins.


Your talking about Manning missing Wednesday practices? Big deal, has it effected his play?


Yeah Manning missed a season and Brady has missed time but they have also been in the league for over 10 years before that happened.


Your throwing Brees out there but do you not remember him getting hurt @ San Diego and being such a risk in free agency when New Orleans signed him? The difference is Brees doesn't make decisions that usually results in a defender punishing him either. Manziel isn't close to being 6'1 by the way.
