Simple... a winning season. I don't even care if with a winning record we don't make the playoffs, but for me to get excited about this team again, it will take a winning season... I'll even take an 8-8 record and be very happy about it! If we turn in less than a .500 record though, as far as I'm concerned, it just means it was another season of over-hyped Jaguars football.

The 'over-hyped' part is what has been the most damaging aspect of this teams miserable record over the past ten years or so. Promoters led the fans to have unrealistic expectations for this team so many times... only for the fans to end up getting burned really badly, to the point that now many in the fan base no longer have any expectation for the Jaguars except for them to come out and stink the place up!

Four, five, six... even seven wins won't do it to convince anyone that things are different now; we need a winning season, or at least a .500 season, to make many of us Jag fans start believing in this team again.

That what I think anyway.
